Likes this wine:

Wednesday, April 3, 2024 - Medium garnet. Slightly transparent.

Reduction, subtle oak, bay leaf, and spices. Note of forest floor emerging.
A nice mix of red and black currant that has satisfying depth and weight. Very good acidity that guides the palate. Rich midpalate of mocha chocolate. Soft supple tannin and mineral texture. Lingering finish with orange peel and rose potpourri.

This is a superbly elegant 'Les Ruchots.' While everyone is rather eager to write off 2021, this is a bright spot. Hats off to Cyprien.
