On the nose not a lot going on. Some cherries, pronounced vanilla and some herbal or green notes. A bit muted. On the palate same aromas, high acidity. Mouthfeel very round, missing a bit of structure.

Update for Day 2:

The wine has clearly improved after one day.
I had hoped yesterday that the wine needed air and it seems to be the case.
I recommend aggressive aeration if you plan to open a bottle of this in the near future.

The vanilla note, which I found irritating, is gone and the fruit appears less blatant and deeper.
I also like the spiciness that the wine now has, which, together with the tart cherry, reveals a BF character.

Unfortunately, I still don't think the wine is really great, but perhaps my expectations were just too high.
