Sunday, April 7, 2024 - Superb. Structured and mature. Cedar, forest floor, iron ore, iodine, blackcurrant. Very much Cabernet in personality. A dark and slightly feral wine- not just a creamy, cassis and oak style, but rather a wine of huge personality and layered depth. Not as refined as a first growth might be, and less classic for that, but complex and involving. Absolutely no hurry on this wine.
