Thursday, April 11, 2024 - 1-hour decant; zero sediment; striking cognac-like aroma with anise, amaretto, dense spice and an inexplicable Cutty Sark note. Medium weight, perfect balance, pitched acidity elevates the Luxardo cherry, red fruit mid-palate that ends with a light caramel essence. Truly an impressive showing for a 62-year old.
