Friday, April 12, 2024 - One of my go-to Bourgogne rouge from 45-year-old vines from Morey Saint-Denis and Chambolle-Musigny. As expected, it does have that slight sauvage note on the nose at the beginning, which blows off quickly, turning more earthy, with an underlying red fruit flavour. On the palate, it's much more delicate than I expected, given the vintage. Medium acidity and soft tannins.
