It is a food-friendly wine with plenty of acid and tannin structure, and at only 12.5% it is also lunch-friendly. But it is a bit too lean and harsh, particularly on the finish. Surprisingly, it hardly changed over three nights, so this, its structure, and the winemaker’s reputation gives me a glimmer of hope that it will evolve and improve.
