Thursday, April 18, 2024 - 2019 Les Fillottes is sweet-scented and detailed. The youthful Pomerol is clear and deep ruby without any noticeable sediments. Aromas of blackberry and spring flowers are followed by incense, dark chocolate and a touch of coffee.

The mouthfeel is dry and verging full-bodied, with a medium level of acidity and a high level of chalky tannin. There are sweet-scented flavours of black plum, crushed violet, liquorice and Asian spices in a rather long, enjoyable finish. The alcohol is 14.5%. The empty bottle weighs 589 grams. The blend is composed of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc.
