Sunday, April 21, 2024 - Opened bottle 3 hours prior to drinking; did not decant. A mix of cherry and plum color in the glass. Huge nose: blueberries, cassis, strawberry rhubarb, leather and vanilla. Velvety mouthfeel with smooth tannins. Flavors of blueberry, pomegranate, cherry, oolong tea, and tree bark. Drank with a small cheese plate. One could happily drink this wine without a food pairing. Stoked that I have a second bottle to enjoy!
