Friday, April 26, 2024 - A round, soft, voluptuous kind of wine. Lots of cocoa, dark chocolate, black cherry, some coffee and orange zest too. Black tea with some air. Acidity is not very high but it doesn’t feel like it’s missing in the grand scheme of things.

A very pleasurable wine; only detraction is that it’s 14.5% abv. It’s not a heavy wine but the alcohol warmth does poke through. I feel like this is one of those wines that’s worth checking out now, it doesn’t need additional cellaring, but it will probably continue to evolve over time. Recommend this be served at cellar temp. 93-94.
