Sunday, April 28, 2024 - Deep, fairly mature colour.
Feeling a bit past it on the nose: quite mushroomy with some high toned furniture polish notes.
Pretty much fully mature on the palate. Full, with good, meaty, black fruit richness, though becoming more bloody and meaty over the fruit.
Still fairly significant tannins.
Sadly, it's lost much of the complexity and depth it had 3½ years ago.
Bit of an old lady: still charming, but needs treating with respect.
