Saturday, May 4, 2024 - Hey this is California Chardonnay. You gotta give them some credit for this attempt. There is is just a hint of crisp mineral sandstone behind the basically proper, ripe peach, lemon and green apple fruit. It’s not particularly complex, but they did a nice job with balance, not too acidic, decent fruit, and we don’t really notice the alcohol. It’s got yellowish golden color. Not as full bodied as most California Chardonnay.
