Saturday, May 11, 2024 - Deep purplish ruby. Smells like black and darker red fruits, graphite, black pepper, and violet. Medium body, acid, and finish, with silky texture, and flavors of black fruits, minerals, and spice. Younger than I'd typically drink—I have some older vintages in the cellar, but it's a restaurant so here we are—but it's an accessible style, and delicious, but not too overtly fruity or big. Solid.
