Saturday, September 5, 2009 - Pop and poured. Dark crimson in color, with aromas of spicy red fruits and forest floor. There have been very pleasing changes in this wine over the past 14 months. A much rounder spicy cherry compote flavor shows through pine, oak, and prominent vanilla notes, with an expansive palate and snappy finish.
