Wednesday, December 9, 2009 - Second bottle enjoyed over last few days, drank with Kim at odd moments over the course of 2-3 days. Did improve on days 2-3, overall very similar impression - pleasant enough entry level little southern rhone blend, good QPR at this price point. Dark ruby, simple, one dimensional and straightforward without a lot of depth and complexity but also no off-tones, well made. Medium bodied, little aftertaste. Nose of red fruit and strawberry, primary flavors more austere with some terroir, granite, dark cherry and tar present.
