Saturday, January 9, 2010 - Popped and poured and...nothing. I have a head cold and figured it might be me and not the wine. I came back a couple of hours later and was pleasantly surprised. Still not much nose but plenty of dark fruit and noticeable acid and tannin. On day two with leftover short ribs this wine was even better. It definitely needs decanting at this stage and I believe more bottle time. I'll let the rest sit for another year.
