Wednesday, January 27, 2010 - Predominantly Merlot (63%) with remainder Cab. Tasted next to the '06 Foxen Merlot. This Bordeaux blend has always been a favorite of mine from Foxen. The nose exhibits blueberry and blackberry and a hint of dried herbs. On the mouth it is balanced and smooth with a medium-long finish. It's nice now but could use some proper cellar time.
