88 Points

Monday, February 22, 2010 - Fill into neck; perfect capsule and cork. Clear medium deep blood-ruby hue. Allowed to breathe in glass for 10 minutes before tasting. Old World bouquet of underbrush, sweet earth, smoke, and red fruit. Pleasantly tart on the palate; medium-full bodied. Coarse tannins on the first day, but after 24 hours under vacuum stopper, the tannins were smoother, and the palate was more elegant with red currants, leather, wood, and a hint of roasted cashews.
