Saturday, April 10, 2010 - There was a case of this present at the dinner it was served, and thank goodness for that: there were THREE corked bottles in a row. I certainly hope this was a fluke, but wow was that frustrating. Anyway, the fourth bottle was quite pleasant. There's good fruit here, but I felt the wine was somewhat muted in its youthful state, and even after hours in the glass it hadn't budged much. That said, the minerality, fruit, and overall balance were noteworthy. I'd be curious to revisit this in 10 years.
