I had my doubts about this as lots of notes refer to some distinctive bacon and tar notes which I don't usually like. But I found this had a slightly smoky nose, with soft sweet berry flavours and was very approachable. As Marcellevi said, maybe some who didn't like it went a tad early, as it's drinking very well now.
