Community Tasting Note

Saturday, June 19, 2010 - Taken to the Wood Tavern, Oakland. One glass poured the rest decanted over an hour. Initial attack of tart, sharp red cherry with a slightly sour and hot finish. Very tight and un-giving. Very slowly opened during our dinner and the last glass was the best with darker black cherry with round mouthfilling fruit with less heat. Needs 1 - 1 1/2 hours of decanting. Good to Very Good.
