Friday, July 9, 2010 - Five Nights in Rioja, July 2010; 7/8/2010-7/13/2010 (Rioja, Spain): Deep ruby color turning slightly garnet at the rim. Intense nose of tart red fruits, well integrated spice, tobacco leaf and vanilla. Very pretty, with floral aromas coming later on. Masses of lively fruit on the palate, medium bodied, silky and mouthcoating. Excellent Rioja with loads of promise. 93+
