Wednesday, August 4, 2010 - Decanted 4 hrs and steadily improved over the next 4 hours. Well-knit, seamless kirsch, berry fruits, cocoa, tar, and baking spices. Powerful but not over the top. To quibble, this wine could use a bit more acid for balance, but it's really fine as is. Served with ribeyes grilled over oak and brushed with porcini powder and porcini oil, porcini risotto, broccoli and onion tempura, and stirfried green beans.
