Wednesday, August 11, 2010 - This wine was great. Decanted just a few minutes before drinking and it was everything we expect from a California Pinot. Big fruit, but not overly extracted. Bright cherry and raspberry flavors, some oak, nice long finish. The first taste had a bit of heat that dissipated as the wine opened up. Glad I have five more.
