The bouquet is the best thing about this at the moment - a lovely mix of ripe cherries, olives, chocolate and tobacco, this already has some complexity. To taste, this is very youthful and mostly dominated by kirsch flavour with a hint of chocolate. Ripe tannins, good acidity and a long finish. There is quite a bit of intensity here and a lot of potential. I'd expected it to soften and develop some complexity with time - the nose certainly suggests that. Hold for 3-5 years.
