Friday, August 27, 2010 - I was quite impressed by this wine. The very attaractive nose opened up after only 30 mins or so, with some wild strawberries. The first thing that hit me after that was the very silky mouthfeel. The strawberry theme continues onto the palate, and it's qute subtle and elegant, with dome dusty tannins and just the right amount of acidity. The finish was also reasonably long, a very well made wine I think. In fact Waitrose have the 2006 on special at the moment, so I picked up a few more in the hope that they will be just as good.
