Friday, August 27, 2010 - Medium/deep purple/ruby core, medium pale purple rim. Youthful nose, bursting with ripe black fruit and some nice peppery notes. Quite full bodied on the palate but also bright and fresh with youthful blackberry fruit, black pepper notes, supple, approachable fine tannins. Lacks a little depth and length on the mid-palate and finishes a little short but decently balanced with attractive (if not overly complex) flavours (13.5%ABV).
