Sunday, October 31, 2010 - Medium yellow-gold robe with clear rim. Very intense nose (when brought up to approximately 60 degrees), showing aromas of pears, peaches, honeysuckle and wet stones. Medium-bodied on the palate, with good acidity and flavors mirroring the nose. The oak is there, but is fairly well-integrated. The middle palate is full and retains the crisp acidity of the attack. At no point does this wine become "creamy" to the extent of most new-world Chardonnays. Medium-to-long finish. Very nice example of new-world fruit but old-world structure. Drink now-12/14.
