Monday, November 15, 2010 - Opened two hours. Nose shows a nice expanse of red berries and cherry, some caramel/oak notes, and earth. Palate is bright and expressive with balanced acid and sweet tannins; hints at some interesting apple, baking spice and cola flavors. Finish fades and becomes one-dimensional - heavily midpalate with black cherries and some drying tannins. This may be at its peak drinking time.
