Tuesday, December 7, 2010 - Yeah, I really liked this. At times I have been disapointed that the tasting room experience does not carry over into the bottles I bring home. Decanted 2 hours, drank over 48 hrs. Light color and a little bit of a dirty brown mixed into the core, pink rim. Medium bodied nose with some floral notes supporting a hint of spice. Taste is very smooth and slightly sweet. Cherry cola transitions to a dark cherry reduction, some cedar as well. Lingering finish. Tasted alone, then with pizza, and then alone the next day. I was surprised how well it stood up to food. It seemed crisp and clear with the food, something that was lacking when tasted alone. I added a point for how well it paired with food.
