Wednesday, January 26, 2011 - This was a very nice Bandol. Nothing subtle about this one. Lots of blackberry/mulberry fruit. Enough acidity and strong tannin to stand up to the fruit. Would be excellent with lamb. I think this will improve over the next few years of cellaring and should drink well for 5-7 more years. If opened now allow for 90 minuts or so decant time. Purchased in Nice for 16 euros.
