Thursday, January 27, 2011 - Wet cork reveals a wine that's a bit madierized. The cool thing is how little it takes away from the experience. The color is deep amber, there isn't much nose. The txture is thick and unctuous. The palate has raisins, apricots, dried mango, toffee and the bright acidity of tangerines and kumquats.
