Sunday, March 6, 2011 - Last of three bottles and definitely the best. This time the oak was nicely balanced with the generous fruit - blend of granny smith apples and sweet nectarines. Biggest plus was the way the malo really softened the vanilla from the oak - neither of the first two bottles had this nice ceamy viscosity. Gotta love that big bottle variation in these central coast chards. Reminded me of a more subdued ridge santa cruz. Without the balance this would have been an 86 at best.
