Friday, March 11, 2011 - 13.8% alcohol. This has settled down and smoothed out over the past year. Dark cherry color. Nice nose of stems, black cherry, raspberry, and minerals. In the mouth, quite assertive black cherry is quickly met with the complex notes of stems, minerals, and earth. The acidity has smoothed over noticeably, and the finish is caressing. A slight smokey note on the finish. B+
