Tuesday, August 22, 2006 - Dinner and Fine, Aged Wine at Le Francais (Wheeling, IL): Ruby red color. Nose is full of tar, currants and herbs. The palate is big bodied and quite youthful. This did receive a significant decant and probably suffered. Tar, minerals and black fruits. Very nice but strutting all of its stuff.
