Friday, June 17, 2011 - A good solid value priced Napa Valley Cabernet. I get lots of blue fruit on the nose, reminiscent of clone 6 or 7 grapes. Lots of color. Almost full bodied. Made in the fruit forward style. There is not a lot of complexity, just good winemaking. There is some nice vanilla from the oak program. Balanced with controlled tannins. Nothing hidden here, just easy drinking Cabernet.
