Thursday, July 7, 2011 - Nose is blackberry, pepper, rose petal, and wood. Flavors are blackberry, dark cherry, pepper, and oak. Nice tannins, but too acidic for our tastes. Finish is decently long, if a bit rough. And this after decanting the wine for over an hour. CellarTracker says to drink by 2011, so maybe it's just past it's prime.
