Wednesday, July 13, 2011 - Decanted an hour, drank over 90 minutes. Still very young but already showing well. Very dark in the glass for a Pinot. Considerably darker than the Burgundy we drank with it. Bid and bold nose of red stone fruit. More of the same in the mouth with a nice depth of flavors and a touch of heat. Smooth finish. Will hold other bottles for a couple more years before trying again.
