Sunday, September 4, 2011 - Drinking very nicely. Our bottle was bottle after 12 months by us at the winery. Wines that had longer in the barrels probably picked up more structure. Surprisingnly this wine has tannins, which are still present. Light on its feet but nice none the less. Had at the Hollywood bowl and improved or 3 hours. Cherry flavoe with minimal moche note typical of rich merlot. Very nice nonetheless and show what Parsonage can produce. This was the first or second vintage of merlot for this winery. Great effort. Drink now through 2013
