Monday, September 12, 2011 - Had friends up to the lake for dinner. Opened the bottle 4 hours before dinner and then decanted 1/2 hour. This wine hasn't changed much since last year. Thin, angular upon opening evolving into classic Bordeaux over 5 hours. This time I got cedar, cigar predominating the nose. Medium bodied, good finish. This is a long term cellaring wine even now.
