Friday, September 23, 2011 - This is a solid wine. Dark, almost black colour with little on the nose. Closed but there is a good fruit (blackberry) in the background. A primal and masculine wine but there is elegance within the tannic structure. Tannic but fine. Needs another 6-10 years but a very good value for $38.00 for a good 2005 bordeaux. Drabbed this as there was a controversy on the quality of the wine.
