89 Points

Tuesday, October 4, 2011 - Yellow/golden color. Nose: ripe pear, pineapple, and nectarine accented with white flowers, fig, creme brulee, and a bit of yeasty lees/toasty biscuit. Medium/full body on the palate: ripe pear, golden apple, and nectarine with more fig, baking spices, and creme brulee. Medium acidity. Lingering caramel, roasted cashew, and some light chalky tannins on the long finish. Needs more acidity to help the balance. Straightforward, big, flashy, delicious new-world Chardonnay.
