Wednesday, October 5, 2011 - 1985 Burgundy Tasting and Dinner (Domaine Storage - Chicago IL): Lightly floral on nose with soft red fruit. Red fruit with a compact earthy element on palate showing emerging forest floor. Good remaining signs of strawberry fruit, showing very clean, elegant and pure Volnay character. Better with food than on its own.
