Thursday, October 27, 2011 - Very big and dense syrah. I really enjoyed it. Dark purple with a huge nose of smashed blackberries with black pepper. On the palate it was the same berries followed by a touch of black pepper, crushed violets, and, after an hour breathing, earthy mushrooms.
