Thursday, October 27, 2011 - {screwcap, 14.5%} Very dark. Very youthful too, with a dark liquorice/menthol note to it. Quite fragrant, although it doesn't really shout cabernet at you. The palate is big and kind of obvious, with soft pliant tannins, a wash of ripe black fruits of various sorts, but a rather short and simple finish. It's a healthy enough mouthful of flavour in an undemanding way, but it's not for cellaring, nor for much contempation. Forgettable.
