Sunday, November 6, 2011 - On the nose, big black cherry with a touch of cassis, tobacco, dried herbs, and menthol. Also quite a bit alcohol. On the palate, very ripe black and red fruits. Almost cooked. Tannins have calmed down and there is a touch of green pepper on the backend. Very boozy - burns on the way down. Nice wine but not as good as I my last set of notes make me believe.
