Thursday, November 10, 2011 - Opened for my Twitter group's Petite Sirah day on Friday, October 7th. Decanted for 8 hours. Wine was massive, beautiful nose, typical very dark/almost opaque appearance. Still tannic with considerable backbone for further aging, and good fruit...blackberries. Good finish, but wondering if fruit holds as tannins diminish. Very good wine in the tradition of long lived York Creek offerings from Ridge.
