Monday, December 19, 2011 - Deep garnet color. Rich berry with musty/woodsy undertone on nose along with notes of spice. Taste was smooth and pleasant with a lingering finish. Was slightly bracing at first taste, but quickly smooths out as it opens up with a pleasant, lingering finish. Terrific value from the Lancaster Estate. Had at winery and am happy to have been introduced to it. Excellent value smooth California cab.
