Sunday, December 25, 2011 - another very fine vintage for David Crox et al - less fruit forward than I remember the previous vintage I sampled (2007?). The fruit is cherries and Plum, currants, raspberries. Has pinosity. But it is tempered by a great freshness which makes the wine feel more narrow and elegant. A slightly hollow mid palate but great finish. Has spine but not much muscles or fat.
