Wednesday, December 28, 2011 - A traditional-styled Barolo that's lean and mean at this point (like most quality '96's) but loaded with deep black fruit and classic notes of tar and roses. Finishes spicy and complex with smooth but potent tannins that still need to be resolved. This is classy juice and should age beautifully and reall needs a few more years to show all it has. 93+
