Thursday, February 16, 2012 - From a half. Deep gold-orange; mature nose with baking spices, cinnamon, powdered sugar, dried apricot; palate overall is a bit flabby, lacks concentration and intensity though it shows full body and weight, hints of orange citrus, some spice, hint metallic as mature sauternes are, but by midpalate is somewhat monolithic; finish is relatively short-medium for sauternes. Overall this is a mature sauternes with nose>palate and a bit lacking in acidity and vibrancy. Drink now. This may be on the downslope, but I can't be sure because this is my only bottle. 86-87
